Introduction Requirements
Headshot – A headshot is simply a photo of your face and upper shoulders that helps us put a face to your name. This does not need to be a professionally taken photo—feel free to use a well-lit picture taken on a phone, senior photos, school portraits, or any clear photo.
Video (approx. 1 minute in length)
- State your name, age, year at MTSU, where you are from and a little about yourself (family, major, hobbies…)
- Discuss performance experience including color guard, winter guard, dance, cheer, theatre, or other performing arts.
- Showcase any special skills or tricks you can perform. Because audition time is limited, this helps to determine experience levels prior to audition day. This section should demonstrate more proficient advanced skills including: tosses or short combinations on the equipment of your choice and any movement skills or phrases that you feel confident performing. These videos do not need to be newly filmed for the purpose of this requirement. You may piece together existing video clips as long as they are clear and you are completely visible. This section should be no more than 5 minutes.
- Upload your video to YouTube and publish them as “Unlisted”.
Once you have the completed the introduction requirements, please access the following link to complete the form and upload the headshot and video: https://forms.gle/JmrCMyyPGvSMpyjQ6
